Websites

Where smart structure meets unique style

I conceptualize and build custom web experiences for an almost unlimited variety of industries (well, at least 50). Every brand has a story to tell, and my job is to convey that story effortlessly and effectively. I craft sites that run smoothly, look distinct, and bring brands into focus. Your website is the one place you own, so let’s make it your own.

MY
PROCESS

I’d love to show you a concept site I created! It’s a perfect example of how I approach a web design project.

For this design, I wanted to capture the feeling of a luxurious Italian travel agency. I used flowing script titles, a parchment backdrop, and map-like overlays to create that artisan, old-world feel. Gold accents were added to elevate.

I approach web design as a storyteller. This site’s purpose is to share the beauty of Italy, so I leaned heavily into full-bleed imagery that lets those stunning locations take center stage.

Additionally, I added location tags next to each image and wove in aerial street maps of each city as design elements. The result is visually beautiful, but also strategically effective. As the visitor scrolls, they not only ideally book a trip, but also plan out which spots they want to explore.

While I always try to build distinct visual experiences, there are fundamental principles that I bring into each design. I use hierarchy of elements and back-and-forth movement to guide viewers through the pages I design. Strategically speaking, this makes scanning a ton of information way easier on our monkey minds.

I also tend to incorporate tons of overlapping elements and stacking images. I find that this technique blurs the lines between sections and makes for a more immersive scroll. It’s my favorite way to create dimension and depth on an otherwise flat screen and a trick I rely on any time I can.

There’s so much more I could say, but I’m running out of room! Thank you for taking some time to walk through this design with me.

I hope this helps you understand my design perspective a bit better as you check out the rest of my work!
